We are seeking a Senior Network Data Engineer to join a forward-thinking technology team. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in modern networking with a strong emphasis on Arista infrastructure, automation, and data center technologies. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hybrid environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable network solutions.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support data center network infrastructure, with an emphasis on Arista technologies.
Utilize CloudVision Portal (CVP) for centralized management and automation of Arista environments.
Apply automation using Ansible and Python to streamline configuration and deployment.
Engineer and support network routing using BGP and other routing protocols (BGP experience is highly desired).
Support and maintain network documentation, architecture, standards, and procedures.
Integrate with platforms like Nautobot for network source-of-truth and automation (experience with Nautobot is preferred).
Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and business stakeholders on complex initiatives.
Provide mentorship to junior team members and conduct technical reviews.
Proactively identify and escalate risk-related issues in compliance with company policies.
Stay current on emerging networking technologies and best practices.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering, systems design, or infrastructure architecture.
Hands-on experience with Arista networking solutions is required; experience with Cisco technologies may be considered as a substitute but Arista is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of data center networking concepts and operations is required.
Experience with CloudVision Portal is highly desired.
Proficiency in network automation using Ansible and Python is required.
Experience with Nautobot or similar network source-of-truth tools is preferred.
Solid knowledge of routing protocols, particularly BGP, is highly desired.
Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services is preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
