Job Title: Senior Technical Engineer – Loan IQ Solutions & Infrastructure
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex technical solutions. This role is focused on infrastructure architecture, solution ownership, and engineering leadership, particularly within financial services environments. You will provide expert-level guidance across multiple domains while contributing to the strategy, development, and operational excellence of enterprise-level applications—especially Finastra's Loan IQ platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert and solution owner for Finastra’s Loan IQ platform, including SDK development, license management, upgrades, module installation, and integration with vendor support.
- Lead the design, documentation, and execution of scalable technical architectures aligned with business needs and long-term strategy.
- Engage regularly with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to define system requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Coordinate vendor management activities, including contract oversight and support escalation.
- Support project estimation, budget planning, and risk management processes.
- Stay current with financial services technology trends, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure all development aligns with regulatory standards and risk management frameworks.
Preferred Technical Expertise:
- Deep expertise in Finastra’s Loan IQ platform (SDKs, APIs, modules).
- Strong background in SQL and database engineering (Oracle preferred).
- Proficient in object-oriented programming, preferably C# in .NET.
- Familiar with software packaging tools (NuGet, NPM), source control (GitLab), and scripting languages (YAML, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl).
- Working knowledge of SIEM and log management tools (Splunk, ELK Stack).
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in systems architecture, infrastructure engineering, or technical solution design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience with complex enterprise systems and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical designs and architectures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across teams.
